Class & Roster
Set the class number and import the roster. The live testing week is set on Skill Sheets. Ending the class is isolated in Danger zone below.
Import roster (CSV or Excel)
Banner exports with Student Name, Student ID, Email, Section Name import automatically — no remapping. Other files still support flexible column mapping. Map a Student ID, School ID, or ID Number column if it is not already named that way. Every recruit row needs that school-issued ID; the app keeps leading zeros and does not invent one. Rows without a usable ID are skipped with a message. Example shape (fake data only): Jane Recruit, A00123456, jane.recruit@example.edu, 2026/FA FTEC-15-0001. Academy class stays 167; the Banner section is stored with each recruit. Recruit document ids are ecfa.rcrt.{class}.{schoolId}.
Recruits that could not be migrated
These people were left on their previous document id because no school-issued Student ID was stored. Evaluations were kept. Add a Student ID / School ID / ID Number on the roster and re-import, or edit the recruit, then Sync Database.
Danger zone
Close-out is irreversible. It freezes this class, builds the branded report PDF and ZIP packet, and resets live dashboard counts for the next empty class. Signed records stay in Firebase. Reprint later from Class archives.

Import skill sheet
OSFM / State Fire Training import and draft review live in Skill Generator. Edit opens that generator with the selected sheet. Timer / No timer on each row (and in the generator) drives the scoring-page clock. This list still tags Midterm / Finals / Neither and removes skills from the battery. El Camino’s 12 JB point sheets stay as they are — use Timer on the row for those.
OSFM retest approval
Optional. When on, an authorized Academy proctor stamps Retest Approved By and assigns the Retest Evaluation proctor in one step. Only that assigned evaluator (or an admin) can start attempt 2. Off by default — both print lines stay blank.

Academy device
Shared iPad settings for every station. These sync on Sync and apply academy-wide.
Idle lock
Lock an unattended iPad after this many minutes (1–60, default 1). This academy setting syncs to every iPad. Proctors receive it on Sync and cannot change it. In-progress grading is kept.
