Academy Settings
Manage users, classes, and skill sheets (including testing windows).
Idle lock
Lock an unattended iPad after this many minutes (1–60, default 1). This academy setting syncs to every iPad. Proctors receive it on Sync and cannot change it. In-progress grading is kept.
Active testing window
This is the live week — Practice, Midterm, or Finals. It does not change which skills belong to Midterm, Finals, or Neither; that is set on Skill Sheets. Every iPad sees this after Sync.
Import roster (CSV or Excel)
Banner exports with Student Name, Student ID, Email, Section Name import automatically — no remapping. Other files still support flexible column mapping. Example shape (fake data only): Jane Recruit, 100001, jane.recruit@example.edu, 2026/FA FTEC-15-0001. Academy class stays 167; the Banner section is stored with each recruit.
Class close-out
This is the only class freeze. It builds a branded report PDF, packs every recruit+skill sheet into a ZIP, freezes the roster, and resets live dashboard counts for the next empty class. Signed records stay in Firebase. Open them later from Class archives to reprint the packet or pick individual scoresheets. This cannot be undone.
